I finally got my invite on Ravelry a week and a half ago, after having put my name in the queue at the beginning of July. It's pretty nifty cool! I haven't had time to put any of my stuff up yet, but I can see how it's lots of fun and a major time sink.
I'm working on a multi-direction diagonal scarf (like Kristi's, I think). I did a search for it on Ravelry and found someone else who had made the same pattern using the same color of Noro Silk Garden that I'm using. What are the chances? It was fun to see how it should turn out.

Oooo Ravelry! It's a huge time suck but it's also a great resource. I've been in since the beginning of July and I'm still learning stuff. It's worth the time you have to wait. You'll have to let me know when you get in so I can add you to my friend list.
I can't help you with the haloscan thing--I don't use that for comments.
Feel better soon.

Your wait won't be horrible - they've increased the invitations now that they've got new servers. This will just give you time to get your stash and projects all photographed and uploaded to Flickr.

I'm sort of anti-Wavwelwy (I can't pronounce that for shit), but only because I try not to be a joiner. Doesn't mean I didn't sign up, but that's mostly to make sure I have my screen name. Plus, I'm not fond of flickr, which plays a major role. I don't even know why I don't like flickr, but I don't. But I'm a big fan of simple text based websites, so what do I know.
I do know that you are freakin' hilarious and I'm glad to see you posting again YAY!
