Thats good news to hear, and with time I think the campaign will show effectiveness in the age groups that are being vaccinated. I have also seen the following article in the Herald re breakthrough cases (after 270,000 3rd doses), and have been debating with the anti brigade on forums who see the cases as an indication it has failed. It has never been said it was 100%, and to be aware of this small risk. Some people have been trying to link to future risk of cancer?? I must remind myself to check back more often, I will go and read the rest of the posts .

can you provide evidence to support the claim that the menzb vaccine has made a difference in counties manukau, waitemata, auckland or northland dhb areas? would be interested to know.

The general case rates are all down from what I understand but the numbers haven't been officially released just yet. I think they will be out from the ministry of health somewhere towards the beginning of next year. I'll certainly be posting an update on the blog when I find out.
