We're looking forward to reading a statement about the investigation of the BBC, though it's not clear in which way the Corporation or anyone could prevent someone from showing anyway your name in public. Thus I'd say the more you show yourself on the internet, the safer you are. Meanwhile it has to be clear and anyone must keep in mind that the whole blogsphere is following the issue ...^^v^^

Afghan Lord I would not feel very secure either, if I were you. Are you allowed to carry a gun? Are you allowed to have a gun in your home? I have no idea what the gun laws are - if any - in Afghanistan.

It is possible that the person making the threats is just toying with you and trying to shut you up but with no intent to harm you. It is true that you are at greater risk because this person revealed your identity.

I do not have a lot of confidence in the BBC right now. Have you attempted to contact law enforcement?

It seems your purpose in life is to tell the truth of what you hear and see -- I'm sorry to hear that there is still hostility in your country toward people who want to be free. To practice their faith, speak freely on political issues (debate), and live in safety.

I don't trust the BBC Organization. To me they manufacture untruths and report only half-truths. And for that matter, they only report what they want the public to know. I plan to lodge a complaint with them as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if certain people within the BBC wanted you removed.
