God - those kids are beautiful!
We take running water for granted. I tell my kids - how would you like to tramp down to the river every day and slog back with water for the house? How do you think that would be? They have a look in their eyes as if they are surprised by such a situation. Then they realize: It would be very hard.
God bless these children and all of the children. Afghanistan is moving toward hope for them. Keep that hope alive and perhaps when these little ones have little ones of their own they will ask that question and their kids will be surprised by such a situation.
What can we do to help, Afghan Lord? Where can we send things for the children in Afghanistan?

Is there a charity that provides school for poor children in that area, one that people can contribute to online?

Ali - I think that Afghanistan has been ravaged for many decades. There has been not much but destruction and war. Kabul used to be a sophisticated, international city back in the 60s.
It will take more than just a couple of years to fix it. It will take more than a few million dollars. If we see improvement every year then there is hope.
Don't lose hope. Look and work toward the future.
