It is really difficult to release him because even Karzai can't do this. A corrupted government corrupted the judiciary system and it is not very easy to release him.
Note that he is convicted of reading an article on the web. Now he is sentenced to 20 years in jail.

I know. Maybe talking about it more around the world would put more pressure on Karzai and/or the retarded people who put him there in the first place? Does Karzai has the power of pardon (like the US or the French Presidents do)?
