Hi Nasim,
great pictures of Buzkashi. Have you heard of Demotix? It is a citizen based journalism site that I think will be perfect for you.
You should have a look:

Hi Nasim,
Nice to read you again. And great that you write about Buzkashi. I was always fascinated by this sport, when I read about it in French horse riding magazines, back in the 80's.

Salaam Nasim Jaan,
Great blog. Keep up the great work. If I may, Buz-kashi translates to 'Goat pulling' not 'Goat grabbing' as you've written.
Regards,
Aysha

Forty years ago this month I saw Buzkashi played at Bagram (?) field in honour of the Russian premier Kosygin. Can you tell me if it's still played?
The only news we get in Britain is of fighting in the south, where I don't think Buzkashi is/was played.

Hallo Nasim,
I visited the Buzkashi at Bagrami Fields on 14th of october 1971, King Daud was there and with interest, pleasure and a lot of emotion we watched this event, which was so strange for me and my german fried.
We spent three weeks in Afghanistan on the Hippie-Trail to india and had a lot of very good experiences in your country.
We know your people as very helpful, tolerant, proud and interested in our live.
So I feel a lot of pain to see your country in a war-situation since 1979.
I wish you the best and a peaceful future for your wonderful country and it's people.
