Did the APs give up tenure? This was a key Bloomie/Klein proviso. If they did not this is a pretty good deal. Also do the APs still share in school bonuses?
Reality ed is right about the future. Since admins work an hour and 25 minutes longer can a demand for a longer day be far behind? What wil Randi demand in return? A continuation of hall patrol?

Randi never met a giveback she didn't like and that's a fact. She'll give away anything and everything and she doesn't care about those of us left here to do the job at all. How she got reelected I;ll never understnd. She should have been impeached.

One thing that's in the articles is that the excessed APs can be given positions where they will teach three periods a day and do admin stuff the rest of the day. Since we have well over a thousand teachers in ATR limbo where is Randi? She should refuse to allow these APs to do teaching jobs while good senior teachers languish as ATRs. If she says nothing about this then she is abandoning any pretense of concern for her members.

Golly, working 15 minutes extra not teaching kids. That's enough time to go to the bathroom, fix hair and makeup (and whatever mem fix) all on the DoE's dime.
