Surprisingly (to me, at least), the article indicates that the play was not a vicious anti-war screed, nor was it an unabashedly pro-war, pro-Bush diatribe. Had it been either one, I would agree that it would be too inflammatory and that the adminstration would have been justified in shutting it down. (Note: I firmly believe that students have very limited free speech rights at school.) Assuming the NYT reported the circumstances accurately, though, I think the administration is overreaching.

I love that picture. I wanted to play the accordian as a kid. Now my daughter said that her daughter wants to, also, but they're rare since electric organs reign.
