North Carolina. Oppressively muggy in the summer (unless you're in the mountains), but very scenic. I'd recommend any part of it, other than the Triangle. And you should do great there. Lots of bluegrass.

7. Tell new teachers they will make a difference but then make them teach to tests, rigidly adhere to narrow limits of what to teach, how to teach it (maybe even on dirty rugs), and when to teach it. Punish them if they spend 30 seconds more on a part of a lesson than they were supposed to.
8. Make them feel they are violating school rules and also make them feel guilty if they go home before working at least 10 hours.
9. Grant Empowerment principals greater hiring power, then have those principals gently nudge boomer teachers toward early retirement. Reward said teachers for their service and experience with the most undesirable classroom assignments in the building.
Golly all these suggestions are put to good use in Los Angeles. That's why are district is more better!
