Klein caused the ATR problem and now whines to his press flunkies that they have to pay all these teachers to do nothing. The astounding part is that the press ignores Tweed's part in the ATR crisis and calls for these poor ATR's to be taken off the payroll.
Where is the investigation of how the ATR crisis came to be? The News, Post, and Sun should be brought to task for inadequately researching their news articles and printing the DOE propoganda without challange.
Americans definitely need to get in line with us. Unfortunately, many, many people have a bizarre view that reflects an attitude of "If I can't have it, no one can."
I don't have a pension, why should you? I don't have job protection,why should you?
For some reason, they either forget or refuse to face the fact that they allowed these things to be taken away by refusing to fight.
What they should do is look at those of us who are trying to hold on to the last remnants of democracy and say, 'good for you.'
Instead, their guilt or sheer inability to see above political and corporate rhetoric has made them into bitter, angry children.
