Say What?? You get to leave after seeing 7 parents?? On the elementary level we have to stay the full 2 1/2 hours in the evening even if no one shows up. (2 hours for afternoon conferences.
Funny, the parents I want to see during PTC never show.

Nah, not really. We were just fooling around, and we had to stay the whole time too. If your supervisor has a sense of humor, it makes things a little better.

This is the first time on the high school level that we had open school night in April....it seemed kind of foolish with a little more than two months left in the term to tell a student who has done no work at all and who only has come maybe 5 or 6 times that he can still work hard and pass the class.....

Our principal must be a saint then- she actually cut our evening conferences short by 30 minutes and made countless announcements asking us to leave. No one had a really hard time obliging her.

Grades due a month ago. Report cards mailed out two weeks ago. Parent-teacher meetings the last two days.
What's with the wacky scheduling of all this?
