Isn't that Winston Churchill that you have a picture of, not Neville Chamberlain of appeasement fame?

Sorry about the last comment. I didn't read the second line about Churchill not caring for appeasement.

Problem with Obama is that he ran a great campaign and didn't really say anything. "Change?" It means different things to different people. So nobody knows what he really stands for. Brilliant as a campaign, but...

I've said it before and I'll say it again--if the Democrats drag a bum off the street to run against John McBush, that's the bum I'll be voting for.
As for the photo, I had one of Chamberlain and Hitler, but I didn't really feel like running a photo of Hitler on the blog. So I went with the good guy.

Batya -- in what areas or policies do you see Clinton having a plan and Obama not having one? I just don't get this whole "there's nothing there" idea. Well, unless we're talking about McCain, that is, and then it's not so much nothing there -- but every opinion on every side, held deeply, but not for long.

Chamberlain wasn't a bad guy. He certainly did a great deal to help housing in England. He was just the wrong person for the wrong time.
