Chaz mentioned that he finds it disgusting that Leo Casey uses Edwize, the "official" blog of the UFT, for personal issues.
That's a good point by Chaz.
When did the "official" UFT blog become Leo's vehicle for personal vendettas, paranoid and crazy as they may be?
It just goes to show that when you let any group of people run things for 50+ years without interference or accountability from anybody outside of their own circle, they start to believe that they ARE the UFT.
No wonder so many rank and file like ourselves get disgusted with the current state of the UFT.
Leo should stop worrying whether his name is still listed on an obscure website and start working to make the day-to-day lot of working teachers better.
Great thought.
I'm afraid I'll have to sit while I wait, though.
