If anything, these students should be given money money for education. Nothing should be cut from them. We need to have more willing teachers available to teach ELS and Students with disabilities.
Doesn't it blow your mind that ESL students are taught in substandard facilities? They actually bring in much more $$ into a school than a 'regular' student. Why isn't that reflected in how and where they are taught?
In my view, what's reflected is the low likelihood that their parents, who probably don't speak English, will complain. Thanks for thinking of them.
You're right, enlisting kids in a school that have programs for students with disabilites or that have ELS are great. That fact alone should make more people interested.
