At "PS/MS Put Your Head in the Sand", where almost the entire staff voted for both the 2005 and 2006 contracts, we are now looking at losing between 7 and 10 positions next year. Very few staff members showed any interest in hearing about the ATRs, because it was NEVER going to affect our little corner of the world. Worse still, administration is actively seeking ways to get rid of a fabulous teacher with about 18 years in so they can save two newbies who might possibly become decent teachers in about 5 years, but right now are so wet behind the ears, they text message each other during classes to share teaching tips.

So this is how we improve the schools?
