And, if a school does use this money to reduce class size, it will be at the expense of a library, science lab, art room or gym.
Others will use it for team teaching rather than reduce class size.
As for the UFT, as long as Klein drops cold water on us, Randi will spin it into wine. After all, as long as her hacks treat her like some goddess, she will she herself that way.
We are just peons in her scheme for greater power.

250%? That's horrific! They should be constantly adding new schools AND teachers... do they really think the overcrowding is temporary?

Not one administration since I have had a child in the system has ever been sincere on the issue of lowering class size. I started out speaking out because of large class size. It is really no big surprise to me that another administration who said they are for the students do not see the needs of students. No matter what mandate they are told to follow they won't and as long as their billionare friends have taxright off's (Charters) things will never change.That goes for Randi also.
