Guess What? Money does buy everthing including top Democratic strategist Howard Wolfson. This is a man who hated everything Bloomie stood for. Now he is running this campaign. And the Obama administration is not lifting a finger to stop this and insure our city get a Dem in office. (Btw, he was the one behind Hillary's campaign against Obama)
And, I would like to know what the top Dems in the city and state are doing to stop this?????
I think this is a poor move by Obama, the Clintons (who also seem to support this) and Emmanuel because they need to focus on all mid-term elections, and they could lose lots of seats since unemployment is now becoming a Republican issue. Alsom supporting Bloomie, who has higher ambitions, is not smart.

Again, the mayor is a master of PR. Who knows what he and O. discussed at that much-publicized breakfast meeting? But it appears the President is squarely in Mayor Bloomberg's pocket on any and all things educational.
I agree that supporting Bloomberg is not smart. That's why I don't. The big issue is getting the word out to New Yorkers, inundated with a media that presents them a very carefully-cropped version of what's going on.
And best yet, as reported on Ed Notes, Wolfson has been a UFT consultant for years as has been his Glover Park Group which got a cool $4 million from our dues in 2008.
