In your last post on this subject, someone commented that this school had a "selection" process which they felt was wrong.

However, I seem to recall that Klein's "small schools" also made sure the best students were selected so that he can show good scores. Isn't it true that no special ed or ELL students were enrolled in his schools, and the feds are looking into this matter?

As for showing favorites:
Why is it that Leadership principals always get an "out" when they do something inappropriate, while other principals get the boot for far less?

Please remember to get out and vote on Tuesday it may not save our city schools, but it may save our pensions.

I don't understand why anyone would ever criticize our chancellor. Don't you realize that the great leader never makes a mistake and that his judgment is infallible. All hail the great leader!!!

Gravatar You're absolutely right.

I must have been drunk again when I wrote this.

Gravatar Thanks for your insiteful piece. Joel Klein has just about broken NEST+m in to little pieces and this use of the "paper of record" too announce the end of the admissions selection process is scary.

Gravatar Wow. That's some model the chancellor has set.

250% capacity? How do they get away with it?
