Why DO they keep ignoring him?
I really, really do not want Hillary- or "Shrillary", as my husband likes to call her. Damn media.
Edwards probably isn't beholden to the corporate media giants so they don't feel they have to cover him or his campaign. Unlike other candidates, he's not pimping our government or his position to corporate media interests. I do remember that at one time "equal time" was an issue during a campaign. There is just far too much media control in our society for my own comfort. We don't even get news about the severe drought that's affecting the southeast. Only news that scares or sensationalizes will do. I agree, NYC Ed, that Edwards is more electable. If you notice, the reporting about the Obama and Clinton campaigns has deteriorated to soap opera and "he said she said" type drama. Edwards is my choice. I wonder what the Democratic Convention will be like....I remember watching the 1968 convention with the police beating anti war demonstrators in Grant Park, Chicago,and microphones being turned off inside the convention so anti Hubert Humphrey people couldn't speak. I hope this won't engender that much turmoil, and that Democrats will come to their senses and vote for the best guy...Edwards.
