The only thing NCLB has done is leave more and more kids behind. We have lowered the standards to pass by so much that we are cheating our best and brightest students out of the education they are entitled to.
Let's see? Your the Prez and you want to go promote increased national test scores. Where do you go? NYC where scores have dropped?! Is Bush just that dumb, or is Mayor Moneybags just that good?

I dunno what transcript you're reading, NYC, but the one on whitehouse.gov reads, "As yesterday's positive Report Card shows, childrens [sic] do learn when standards are high and results are measured."
anon, after Olbermann reported the White House edited the official transcript to make Bush's statements grammatical, the WH changed the transcripts back to the original.
Olbermann is the best. I think that had NCLB been in place when Bush went to school, he would not have scored so well and would have been in need of some major intervention.
