If anyone can believe that our union leadership is not moving step for step to this choreographed Kabuki ask this question. Why was/is no protest made about the quality and experience of these outside investigators.
Ask why no mention is made about the fact that the QRT reports are being contradicted by the School Report Card grades. I know of two schools in 2 miles of each other where one had a highly proficient rating and received a report card D while the other was poorly developed but received a B as a report card grade.
Where is the union to highlight these inexplicable inconsistencies.

Is this the chap that came up with the whole "Empowerment" philosophy? According to someone I talked with at the DoE, most of the original Empowerment schools in Britain are sinking like a rock.
Checked out Charlie's own website. He had a BSc from Univ of Durham in Zoology and trained as a Biology teacher at Exeter. No advanced degrees, no major achievements. He is every bit the con man that Marc Tucker is. It's funny how a guy like Klein, who was number 3 at Justice is duped by the educational flim flam men. Maybe the UFt needs to recruit an Elmer Gantry type to argue its point of view.
I wonder what the cost was of this quality review boondoogle? Charlie and his mates have to be shuttled back and forth to the mother land as well.
There's also the cost of all the "wining and dining" and preening of the reviewed schools that goes on prior to their visits. Many schools hired Aussies just to help coach them on how to interface brit style. Plenty of bucks to Staples for binders and portfolios that are so revered. All this while teachers have to bring in their own paper for duplicating.
I could be wrong, but my understanding was that the QR team cost $21 million. And don't get me started on the copy paper thing.
