This is the result of total control over the school system. wouldn't be surprised what other issues have been covered up.
I hope my COPE $ will be spent to end this control once and for all.
Stop picking on the Mayor. He is doing the best he can. Do you really think the citizens of NYC deserve to be treated any better??? Get real! They are only here to make him and his friends richer and more powerful.
Much of what you've been saying is so true: it's all about information cover-up. If you can control the information, you can control the people. Unfortunately, people actually decided to investigate the numbers and question that authority, and to them I say thank you. I mean, if we as teachers recognize that there's more abuses that don't get reported, and we're the ground troops, then the generals need to be more real about what they're reporting.

Never liked them, not as a kid and not as a teacher. I feel sorry for the drivers. Of course, some of the drivers shouldn't be in the business, but it would be better if there were responsible adults as monitors.
YO- that is interesting that you talk about the coverups from bloomie and the figure head, i mean, the chancellor.. one of my students mother pulled her son off the bus b/c of the abuse physical and verbal abuse he was getting on a daily basis. dag yo..
Just out of curiosity, are the bus drivers actually employees of the school district? Because our district decided to outsource bus drivers a few years back and there was a huge public outcry.
