I left 2 comments on Edwize regarding this story. If the union rep is being punished for doing his job, then the DR should investigate and get back to Randi ASAP. But for some reason Randi does not see this as an attack on the union.

I have read too many stories false charges against teachers. This is why the union needs to step in.
For once the Post is doing the right thing and seems to be supporting this teacher.

Gravatar The Post has an ultra-right-wing editorial page, and all of its op-ed writers are right-wing too. I find its political coverage, even in the rest of the paper, to be impossibly slanted.

Oddly, I've been following the education reporting for years, and it's not too bad if you ignore the editorials. I think the News also has a lot of good education reporting. The Times is getting a little better too.

They're not all kissing Mayor Mike's feet as regularly as they once did.

Gravatar Truly despicable. So the more you speak out the more the hammer comes down on your head.
I just wish that Randi would stop giving concessions and do the job she was elected to do and stop going after her own agenda whatever that might be.

Gravatar If this does not demonstrate to the public the vindictive and totally undemocratic nature of the principals appointed under Bloom/Klein nothing will!

This is beyond dispicable-it is obscene. I support Mr. Alejandro and would not be surprised to hear that he has been reassigned to the rubber room as I expect to be.
