Grandma had better start shopping. My first grade grandson is pretty much the same way about reading and homework. He has to be gently encouraged. We use a lot of Star Wars books because that's his thing right now. His three year old brother recently told me that I needed to eat vegetables so I will grow taller. Kids get some crazy ideas!
