Too bad you weren't lucky enough to have a biter as a teacher. Did you see the article on page 18 of the Daily Propraganda, I mean News. If anything other than the fact the teacher might have actually been eating pizza that day is true in this story I'll eat my hat!

Another great story. It's a nice reminder that we shouldn't get caught up in complaining what the kids are *supposed* to know, but instead start with what they do know and work from there.

My friend tried to get a pension consultation from all the UFT offices last week and was told they are fully booked for the rest of the school year. It would appear many teachers like Wally are retiring because of the 2005 contract.
The 2008-2009 school year should be very interesting with a record amount of teachers retiring due to the classroom harassment and the 25/55 program. Let's see if that doesn't clean up the ATR issue. However, I highly doubt it.
