Congratulations! Amazing how a blog can really make such a big difference in our own lives, how it gives us a chance to process our world, our experiences and exert some semblance of control over them through our writing. The kind of control many of us didn't have growing up.

I knew it would happen! It kinda sucked there for a while with everyone saying:

"Oh we love it, but we don't know how we would market it, and it doesn't neatly fit into our little boxes (art book, memoir, novel) so, good luck!"

But, now, you've got a publisher who wants to do it your way!

I knew it would happen for you, just got to be persistent. You have to come to Birmingham on the book tour. I want to get mine signed.
