In the pictures I see water drops on the eggs. I have read not to get water on the eggs. Also, the eggs look shriveled up. I think I read if they are not "plump" to discard them. My BD just laid her first clutch and she did not follow any of the rules. She had them over a period of 3 days and did not attempt to bury them. She just laid them where ever she happened to be, even had one in the "V" of a climbing branch.
