Gravatar Well, I for one am glad you and those like you went to medical school so there are at least some trained folks out there to hack into if even I need hacking into.

Gravatar Excuse me for screwing up that last post.I'm not sure how I messed it up so badly, I promise I was not under the influence either, just worn out from an extremely busy week. I am just glad that there are trained and qualified doctors still around, especially surgeons. So thank you for going to medical school.

Gravatar "I have closer friends from those 4 years than from any other part of my life, people who I can (and have) see once every decade and enjoy their company as if we had just seen each other yesterday."

I wanted to thank you. Your post inspired me to call up a friend from med school whom I see once every five years even though he's only an hour away. I know what you mean. Each time we talk, it brings back great memories.

Gravatar So true. When I was a kid (around 11) I decided to become a pediatric neurosurgeon, and when I was 17 I had an informal internship with a pediatric neurosurgeon. There was a level of camaraderie that I have yet to see in another industry.
