"vista is so damn slow..."

totally agree! i experienced it first hand. my a200 satellite was originally purchased with a vista OS. natiis kong ganun ang performance ng mga... two days. pina-downgrade ko agad. ^_^ masakit nga lang sa ulo since most of the devices were programmed for vista kaya search and download galore kami ng xp-compatible software to make them work. at wala nang purble place. :C pero it's worth it.

may question po ako. i currently have both avg and avast installed in my laptop. some tell me na di maganda yon, some say ayos lang. what can you say about that? (o dapat ba kay bb. bangs ko sinulat 'to? ^_^)

I think you have to choose between the two. Being affected by viruses just really depends on usage. Stay away from porn sites, and scan every thing you put in your toy's hole. (i.e. usb ports, CD/DVD rom, floppy)

I haven't met BB. Bangs yet but I think she would agree what I said. It's bad to have two individuals checking out your "hard drive". haha.

aw... AVG loads faster than Avast, but i can't imagine not hearing the suave 'caution, a virus has been detected' or 'the virus database has been updated'.

thank you po for the advice. ^_^

oh, i tried creating the 'con' folder.

and i failed. miserably. ^_^

Edi ba, 2 antivirus programs takes its toll on your system? Imagine two boyfriends Nic. Both will want to know what you're up to, who you're with, if you're okay. It will get annoying, right? haha! Besides, hindi ba sila nag-aaway? Haha!

"Imagine two boyfriends Nic."

^_^ di ba mas masaya yon? double the fun! ^_^

haha, but that was a great analogy, kuya rex. ^_^

^_^ di ba mas masaya yon? double the fun! ^_^

Aaaah, but you will think it's 'masaya' at first, feeling secure and all. But the truth is, taking more than you can handle will get you in trouble, haha!

Just choose one Nic. And I think its best to avoid pirated anti-virus software. You think they don't know that you are using a pirated version of their product? I don't think so. But if you want to have a worry free surfing all the time, just go with Linux-based OS like Ubuntu!

eset nod32 ing makainstall kaku as antivirus, ok ya ba?

tin ku pang problem, maka-on neman ing spamguard ku king yahoo peru dakal ku parin atatanggap nuissance mails, what do i do?

OMG! antivirus = boyfriends.. hahaha! ala kung asabi..

yieh, aku atin ne virus ing kaku, itang br1e chu chu ek ek.. eke pa tinry isearch pakananu alako.. hahai

@buduy: Give up on your Yahoo! Mail. It's a very crappy web mail client. I use my yahoo account for IMs only nowadays. I "might" write about that next time. Create a gmail account!

Ay nako, BUDUY, make your GMAIL account your main email account already. Lalu as you get older and start to apply for jobs, you don't want your email to sound like an email of a high school drunk, right? Hehe.

Jose Alberto, kindly write on how to ease "the switching process". Given naman na kasi na way better ing Gmail diba? There are lots of posts in the internet about it anyway. Ing maging hindrance kasi, matamad la mag-migrate contacts and group memberships and stuff..

FERG, ing laptop mung ayan, never tane aayus, haha! Ayusan mu ne yan. You'll never know, just like with an asshole boyfriend, your "world" might just come crashing down without warning, haha!

i use both gmail and yahoo... pang pormal ing gmail, ing yahoo, pangegana (pamangsignup websites, etc.), ita pin dakal spam, eke balu lako

Aku ing Yahoo ku, pang chat nyamu talaga. Gmail has better spam filtering capability. Aku so far, no spam emails from Africa or someone wanting to "upgrade" my pickle has penetrated (pardon the pun, haha) my inbox.

kuya rex, free ku this week! yey! munta naku talaga 34g promise! hehehe

tutu ya ba itang "if you want porn, CLICK HERE"???

LOREE, why don't you click to find out?

Try it. It should be fun. Haha!

@Rex: Yes, I'm planning on writing one about gmail. Hopefully my next article. Haha. It's the best!

@Buduy: I think the main reason why you get spam messages from your yahoo mail is because you use it to subscribe to other websites. Of course, that's the only way your email gets to be shown to spammers

@Loree: It is true. That is pornography though in a different sense. Don't click it if you don't want to have problems though. I assure you it doesn't have a virus and any malware but I also assure you that you'll say "shit" after clicking it! (Think more than twice before clicking!)

Mas masanting nung click ye kabang atsu kayu internet shop, haha! Aku, malas ku, atsu ku bedroom anyang cinlick ke. Eku man aenjoy masalese ing reaction.

@Rex: I like your idea. Haha! Hmm. Just out of curiousity, when did you click it? Like just today? Haha. I sure hope no one else clicks the link. haha! (reverse psychology? :D)

murit kayu dana! haha, mebiktima ku karin! ala kung asabi ketang site, haha, meparestrat ku tuluy pc.. hehe

dana.. haha. medali ku karin.. haha, click ye lagwa, haha, makadisturb ya dana ala kung asabi.. shet

@buduy: You restarted? Tsk.. Rex was right, if you are inexperienced in programs and stuff, all you can do is restart. haha.

BUDUY, you should've:

1. Run Task Manager, by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete.
2. Find firefox.exe among the processes and kill it. Right click and choose "End Process".

(",)

al ku task manager,, tabalu bakit, disabled ya kanu

ligsu ku neng click while im at dizontec. hahahaha. simap memasa ku pang comments. hihi. keng pampanga ku nemu check! para safer.

@Joms: dapat ni-click mu ne. haha. Ok mu ita. Banta lalu lang dakal reng lumapit kekang ating espada. haha.
