Asthma is a very serious deal - you are not a drama queen at all! I'm glad he's getting better. I once ignored Holly's cold because kids get them all the damn time and she ended up with double pneumonia and I was all like OH what a GREAT MOTHER I AM. But damn, you do the best you can, you know? Hope Daniel (and you) feel better soon.

I hate to see parents kicking themselves over this kind of thing, because it seems so clear in retrospect but I think we've all experienced that "do I or don't I?" feeling where it really ISN'T clear. If it HAD been clear, you WOULD have rushed him. It's only clear looking back on it, when you know. You did good. You did right.
Don't beat yourself up, Aibs. Sieran once had a really bad bout of rotavirus that was serious enough to hospitalize her. Had I waited one more day... um, yeah. I had waited long enough already. And I *still* feel guilty about it.
