Yep, I just got "dumped on" by someone at my blog. They apparently didn't know what to say but wanted to be negative somehow so they just left some kind of "stream of consciousness" thingy....well, more like dribble of semi-consciousness. You think to yourself, wow, get a life!
I dunno, I kinda like it when someone gives me a laundry list of their best hits. It's like playing chess against someone who tells you exactly what his game plan is. And, as you said, someone who dumps a load of manure doesn't usually have much of substance to argue with. From there, it's just getting out the shovel and re-dumping the stuff in the compost heap. Drudgery, but in all, easy work.
Of course, there's the flip side: folks who dumo their whole load in the manner you describe are rarely able to see past their manure-clogged vista to anything like reason.
Still, as Mills said, arguing against a false proposition can only strengthen a true proposition.

I see your point. My experience has been with them not being able to see past their manure-clogged vista, as you so accurately put it. I show how they have very poorly used scriptures, to the point of being dishonest in their handling of the passages and they just continue on with their little proposition, as if that never happened.
