I'm plunking my money down on "win, place AND show" on that one. Huckabee's looking more and more like the lowest class of Southern Baptist preacher boy (spoken from more than half a century associating with the breed in So Bapt churches). All of the three characteristics you list in that sentence generally apply to that bottom feeding class.
Note: I do NOT say ALL So Bapt preachers belong in that class. There are intelligen, well-informed, honest So Bapt preachers, too. Unfortunately, those who have each of those characteristics are becoming rarer and rarer, IMO.
This is a great post, particularly the part where you point out his Clintonian reply in response to his being charged with a 'bunker mentality'.
I have to wonder what the heck our Christian friend Chuck Norris thinks about his backing Huckabee now.
