Great post, Mark. I did watch the debate, so called. I wanted to see how Juan MexiCain would do. I know call him John McCain, if that gives you any indication of what I thought about it.

If he simply changed his word from "experience as a legal thinker" to what he said ("strong enough jursit or legal thinker"), I would still agree with Obama's assessment of Thomas. Thomas had not written a lot of legal opinion as a jurist prior to his nomination.
But really, let's bring this to the logical comparison. Thomas didn't have copious amounts of experience as a jurist. Obama has no experience as a president. But neither does McCain or any of the other candidates. So the comparison is moot.
And lol at the racism quip. Projection is fun, isn't it?
Apparently you don't see the irony in your wordy obfuscation in reply to a post about wordiness.
