Interesting debate. I'm teaching Eusebius in two weeks and so it is also timely. But on the Josephus and Jesus business (cf. http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/...hen/08522a.htm)
I'm afraid I have a hard time warming up to these sort of interminable wranglings. As a scholar myself, I understand part of the impulse, but as a person of faith they remind me of what went wrong with late scholasticism.

For someone who avidly screamed "Just because the data is new doesn't make it right", you certainly are a hypocrite.

Shawn,
Thanks once again, for showing you have no substance to offer and have to resort to spin. Your bs accusation indicates your deep seated bias blunts whatever intelligence you might have or that you're a liar or a little bit of both.
I also appreciate that your little visit adds to my traffic count.
