Sigh...it is a lesson I must learn over and over. But, I am grateful for the brothers and sisters in X who remind me of this much needed lesson!
Some of your words/thoughts brought to mind Jerry Bridges book, "Trusting God--Even When Life Hurts". I read it for the first time just a few years ago, and even though I've placed God's sovereignty high on my list for meany years, the book did wonders to solidify it in my mind and heart! You might enjoy reading it, too. 
Connie, thanks for the book recommendation. I was thinking about doing a study on that very book.
