Whew, I'm glad that I wasn't the only one who thought that when they heard that news item.
Man, I got all excited when I saw that "Hermetic solipsism" headline.
"Finally!" I exclaimed. "Something that explains why hermits can take an entire lifetime pondering the nature of existence, then have the nerve not to share their findings with the world! Here's the explanation I've been waiting for. How on earth does this Wonderdog fellow do it?"
Upon closer examination, it turned out there were no hermits, hermaphrodites, hernias, or airtight containers in here. I see some icy arctic waters (brrr!), but not a single solar eclipe, soul singer or person who believes everyone's lips ought to be sewn together.
I was pretty sure I caught a glimpse of some dude chewing on a blue pill over in the corner. When he saw me, he bolted, muttering something about a caucus meeting in Ottawa.

I got the feeling that Harper was disappointed that no reporters raised the northern sovereignty question in his press conference. He had to force the point at the end of the conference. It seemed a little too well scripted to me.
Listening to less than left-wing CJME, I hadn't heard that Harper forced the "answer" onto the reporters.

I'm wondering why pretty much everbody in the blogging world figured this out (although I'm not sure I agree 100% with the script, but softball it was, or test, or something along those lines) but the media didn't?
