Couldn't get the trailer to play for me.
I will cover myself in shame now by saying that I enjoyed watching Titanic. Sure it was over the top but it was a pretty film to look at and fun to watch, and the sight of DiCaprio's character slooowly sinking beneath the waves (and the chorus of tearful boohooing from the teenage girls in the audience) had me laughing out loud.
I think Cameron did True Lies also, and I always got a kick out of that one.
True Lies was pretty good. I especially enjoyed Tom Arnold's performance. And Bill Paxton is always cool, even when he's playing a sleazy used car salesman.
Of course, in our post-9/11 world, it's no longer politically permissible to make movies portraying muslims as bad guys.
I thought this was a live-action film based on the Avatar cartoon on Nickelodeon until today. Oops.
