Yep. That's the one big concern that I've had with s3. I've got multiple computers and don't always want to do a painful, convoluted synch of music libraries. I'm playing with ways to create an online, streaming media player that uses s3 for file storage and Silverlight/.NET as the vehicle. If I actually spend a serious amount of time on it and get it to work, I'll let you know. I think that streaming from s3 may require running a service on ec2 that my web app can then use as a streaming data source. Personally, I'm not looking forward to paying for ec2 instances on top of the (admittedly minimal) cost of s3.
