Perhaps Zonelabs should use the '180Solutions in 365 Days' in their legal arguments.

Interesting developement, but the application filtering in Zone Alarm has been criticised by Fred Langa for being too vague in what it labels as dangerous here
BillPStudios has also stated that Zone Alarm may be in the wrong in this case.
I believe Zone Labs will end up changing the wording in the alerts as a result of this suit.

Am I missing something or the 180Solutions software something other than Spyware? It seems, just from what little I've seen here, like 100% malware to me.

I agree with Zonelabs and suzi:

Since when has adware had any usefulness?

Seems to me that Zone Labs is just telling it like it is. The content of the dialog boxes seems to state the precise truth about 180 Solutions. It has NO value and should be removed, unless of course you are entertained by the pop-ups and other advertisements.

I fail to see this as anything other than very good advice from Zone Labs.
I have removed 180search from many of my friends and familys PC's - noone wants it and whatever is said in any EULA or Privacy agreement they are preying on the less computer literate (since this is the only way they'll get their malware installed anywhere).
Good luck Zone Labs with any legal action!

It made me roll on the floor to read 180solutions claims that they, like Google and MICROSOFT, had created a business model giving users FREE things in exchange for advertising.
180 solutions is malware- period.

Intresting that they edit these comments - my last little rant hasn't been printed...
Anyway. I've just found the 180 search assistant on my computer. MS Antispyware labels it as high risk and leaves you in danger of "loss of computer control"
Just to put the cherry on the cake, I was in NO way asked if I wanted to install it. The first I knew of it was when MS antispyware found it!

Is anyone having problems with Zone Lab firewalls? The one that came with Win XP SP 2 reboots my PC periodically. I was having lots of reboots last spring and threatened leagal action and the PC stopped rebooting until last week. What can I do to get their attention
