I have encountered a printing problem after installing wwmffix_hexblog14.exe

Lotus 123 version 5 will not print.
All other programs seem fine.
Rebooting has not helped.

Running WindowsXP Professional SP2

I dunno if this is a problem with the patch, 'cos I installed it on an XP-SP2 comp serving as a print server to 4 computers, and have no problems whatsoever, or at least none that I can tell (printers are an HP Laserjet 1300 and a Canon BJC2000).

In fact, the day AFTER I installed the patch I successfully added 2 computers to the print network.

I suspect disabling the DLL file has something to do with it; I did not unregister that on my work XP PCs.

Quick question: do I still have to disable the DLL after I install the unofficial patch?

Micheal -- both patches appear to co-exist just fine.

Chicken -- I wouldn't bother disabling shimgvw.dll when using Ilfak's hotfix.

I uninstalled the patch, re-installed my Brother HL-1230 driver (just to be sure), and the problem disappeared.
Then I re-installed the patch and the problem reappeared. I think it's a network issue.

System Restore appears to have no effect.

I'll keep trying.
