Just a quick thought, Wouldn't some malware/virus authors capitalize on the thought that win98 users are less sophisticated (Generality) thus more vulnerable?

I need some clarification here. So even if a capable image processor previews a malicious WMF, it won't trigger the vulnerability unless it's actually sent to print?
I ask because I'm using a Win98 development platform for compatibility, and I'm running the latest version of The Gimp (which, IIRC, can read WMFs). Also, microsoft office cliparts are WMFs too...
