I have concerns about this whole submitting reports process after having looked through the website. The reports that we submit, although annoymised and although they claim they will make it available to governments, non profit organisations, companies etc, I still have concerns.

I am worried that what will happen is that using the information we submit they will release their own anti virus/antispyware program.

Now, I don't mind Google/Sun releasing an antispyware program, or an antivirus program, but I am concerned that they will charge for these products, after using our data.....

ie this is just one big research project, rather than a proper group concerned with stopping badware.
