Hi there,
nice writeup I have to say. As you state in the writeup, its practices on advertising its "Spyware free" Programme and its unclear disclosure, is something that I displease heavily. The users that end up in the security forum and having this installed, arent aware of the spyware "features" the Programme comes with and are most often shocked when they are told. Well, just my 2 cents on this "old friend."
Keep up the good work. Been a constant visitor, for ages now...
rgds, Johannes

I'm a volunteer security analyst at a few forums, mainly TSF - I always have, and always will - recommend the removal of DAP to a user. I also have the link to DAP's v.own Privacy Policy, just as a starting point for interest.
If Anti-Malware products won't remove it.. I, and several other analyst, will!
Do not follow in the footsteps of Microsoft Anti-Spyware Beta.
