It's not as good as the owner of DirectRevenue's daughter getting infected with Aurora, but it was entertaining still.

I have always been advised that if you need the money anyway, a job's a job.
Wish we could choose in reality, but that's the way it is. I think we have learnt from the likes of EA and Microsoft that employees do not necessarily like their jobs... they just keep them to support their families.
A pity.

Its surprising you mention Microsoft there with Job dissatisfaction. Very surprising...consideirng that year after year, the Times in the UK publishes top 100 companies to work for - putting Job satisfaction very high on the list, as well as how the company looks after the employees and the pay etc.
Year on year, Microsoft appears to do quite well - admiteddly recently its been slipping, but here in the UK they are usually quite highly rated. (Making it into the top 100 is quite a feat in itself when you consider the number of companies there are out there).

Just type in "Top 100 companies to work for" and then add "microsoft" and there appears to be loads of surverys suggesting that it is up there on job satisfaction....
Admiteddly some of those are based on perks hours etc, but it all adds up. And it is a rather subjective set of surveys, however the few (And I admit it is only a few, so many out there may have talked to many more) Microsoft employees I have talked to, appear to enjoy working and respect the company they work for........

Then maybe I shouldn't have mentioned Microsoft even if it DID have a few publicized accounts of job dissatisfaction (that have increased ever since delays of Vista and the next Office were announced). I apologize for mentioning a company that's rated high anyway. Clearly I should have gone for a better example.

I suppose that that is the difference between people like this ex-employee and people like me. I could never, in good conscience, work for a company such as 180Solutions. Never in a million years. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night. I wouldn't be able to show my face to friends and family, being that they would know my place of employment. I wouldn't be able to live with myself. I would flip hamburgers or wash dishes before I would work for a bunch of get-rich-at-any-cost slimeballs such as these.
