Yep, it's another member of the SpywareSheriff/SpyAxe group of applications, operated by the SheriffCash/CashUnlim CWS-related group.

I'm not a computer junkie so I have no idea if TitanShield is good or bad. My brother-in-law downloaded it and from what I can gather online it's a Trojan virus?? Should he download free software to remove it?? Who can I trust??

It's one of those nasty fake spyware things that put all sorts of fake popups onto your computer and forces you to pay what, 50 bucks to buy their software, so I dont know what you're trying to do here. I wouldn't support an organization that participates in that. To prove it check this out :

I'm actually trying to get rid of it at the moment and I went online for help (on a different computer because everytime I try to search for "Antispwyare" it takes me directly to their Titan Shield Antisypware site. What a crock.

I just had to spend $150 with a phone support company to get rid of this Titan Shield Trojan Virus. Has anyone thought of some kind of class action lawsuit against this company? These people, and others like them, are the scum of the Earth.
