Anyway, in what way "it doesn't work that well"? Does it seem to fail in most circumstances? Any idea/experience on what makes it fail and what makes it successfully execute?

It just doesn't work all the time -- sometimes it's effective in exploiting a system, sometimes not. It's not like VML or WMF.
