Did anyone look at the original Newsweek source for that quote? The Mac ad in question is running right next to the article.
I don't know if that was deliberate, but I still love irony ; )

talk about funny, when I try to view the video, the Quicktime plugin generates a bunch of errors and IE7 crashes.

I noticed I have no trouble playing the Mac ads on my FreeBSD box, but most MS stuff won't even load. Mac plays nicer with others.

I think "security guys break the Mac every single day" is meant to refer to the Month of Apple Bugs (MoAB). Of course it was not the Month of 'Mac OS' bugs so this isn't entirely accurate.
"Every single day, they come out with a total exploit, your machine can be taken over totally." [if referring to MoAB] is not correct either.
As for..."I dare anybody to do that once a month on the Windows machine." I'm sure he meant Vista and probably more accurately Vista 64-bit.
You know those senior executive types, you have to translate what they say

I've heard Vista bears a strong visual resemblance to the Mac OS, maybe Bill's confused as to which is which.
Tried to view the link, had to install Quicktime. Forget it.

It's probably had something to do with that experiment a while ago when W2K Server was released and MS reqistered a domain to find out how hard it would be to hack IIS, I guess.
Maybe it's a reference to Vista as OS that hard to hack...who knows...?
I recall when the owner of the company I used to work in a past called ActiveX control (not ActiveX itself) a technology which is technically stupid but people are people... you know...

For those opposed to Quicktime, Google for Quicktime Alternative.
Does good work. Not a mess.
