So does that mean google's captcha is broken or someone actually sat there and set up those 270+ pages O_o
Given the pwnage of blogspot by spammers since at least 6 months, I'd say that the spammers have tweaked their bots and are somehow getting around the safeguards for Google Groups.
What's sad is that the spammers are using software tools to create the blogs/groups/etc. and Google is only using humans to find them.
My guess is that human intervention is at most needed on the spammer side to do the captcha. On the other hand, the way that Google makes us report a violation is 100% human - you have to fill out a web form. Google refuses automated reports from SpamCop and other systems that detect spammy URLs.
That means that reporting a porn blog/group takes more human effort than it does to create one. You can see where this is going. Read more here: http://
