The stipulated order is dated 12/5 and it gives AFF 30 days to notify affiliates. And I suspect the clock doesn't really run until the settlement is approved by the court.

Dear Alex/Sunbelt,
I like your security blog but I work in a conservative organization - I do wish you were more selective with the images you post.

There's still a live link in the comments of the post your linked to. The last comment here:

At least it looks live -- I didn't click on it.

Well, this stuff ain't pretty and sometimes, you've got to show it as it is - if you take into account every time of possible reader out there (in terms of where they're viewing the site from and what they can access in that location), you'd end up never posting anything.
This stuff sucks - and its important to show its suckiness, or the post veers dangerously close to being meaningless.

Paperghost is right. I do edit images and take out offensive content. But this is a security blog and this is the type of stuff we see out there.

Hmmm. I'm by definition a Christian Fundamentalist, grouchy as can be about porn. While I don't like those images either, that does not equate to "don't show them in this context." You've done a fair job of indicating the nature of the images while masking the most egregious parts. I applaud your balanced approach, Alex.

AFF is BASED on filth. Changing would mean closing shop.
The real story is how they look the other way to illegal sites participating in their "program". Without AFF money thousands of sites would cease to exist. It's precisely the garbage that made them big. Sponsoring the sites no one else would touch.
