Fwiw, the actual popup box itself has been in circulation since around June. The only time I've seen it previously was as a front for rogue security apps though, so its interesting that its suddenly reappeared.

I'd love to know if its the same clowns, or just someone thinking they'd like a slice of fake update box action..
